Paul Kemp has considerable expertise and experience of business and finance management at a very high level and I am delighted that we have been able to make this excellent appointment. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Nigel Atkinson, who has served the Board and the local community as a non-executive director with such distinction over the previous eight years. This included a period as Vice Chairman of the Trust Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee.”
All Non Executive appointments are made by the Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust Council of Governors. Non Executive Directors serve three years and this can extended for a further three-year term. They receive remuneration of £13,000 per annum.
