The Customer Care Awards focus on the way in which staff have dealt with other people. In particular, whether they have delivered their care in a friendly and welcoming way or who have gone that extra mile to help.
Nomination forms can be picked up in the Customer Care Department on Level 2 at Salisbury District Hospital and on wards and in outpatient areas. Alternatively, people can nominate staff on the Salisbury District Hospital website at www.salisbury.nhs.uk . Please go to the Customer Care Awards box on the homepage and follow the instructions..
Peter Hill, Chief Executive of Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust said: “Good customer care plays a crucial role in the overall care our staff provide and can have a significant impact on our patient’s experience. I know from previous years that so many of our patients, relatives and carers want to highlight the good customer care they received at the hospital.“
“We will accept nominations for individual members of staff or teams from any part of the hospital’s services where people feel staff have gone that extra mile to help.”
Nominations close on September 20 and the winners will be announced following the Trust's Striving for Excellence Awards on November 26.
