Local people can now nominate hospital staff for customer care awards 

Local people, patients and staff have the opportunity to nominate an individual member of staff or team for a Salisbury District Hospital Customer Care Award.

The Customer Care Awards focus on the way in which staff have dealt with other people. In particular, whether they were friendly and welcoming or who had gone that extra mile to help.

Nomination forms can be picked up in the Customer Care Department on Level 2 at Salisbury District Hospital. Alternatively, people can nominate staff on the Salisbury District Hospital website at . Please click on the Customer Care Awards icon on the homepage.

Matthew Kershaw, Chief Executive of Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust said: " Good customer care plays a crucial role in the overall care our staff provide and can have a significant impact on our patient’s experience."

"I know our staff do a fantastic job and this is echoed by so many of our patients. We will accept nominations for individual members of staff or teams from any part of the hospital’s services who people feel have gone that extra mile to help. "

Nominations close on September 30 and the winners will be announced following the Trust's Striving for Excellence Awards on November 26.
