Staff at Salisbury District Hospital are asking people who received an Accident and Emergency Department (A&E) patient survey questionnaire to complete and return them by the end of August at the latest.
All hospitals carry out patient surveys as part of the national initiative to use the views of local people to improve health services, and around 850 people who recently attended the A&E Department at Salisbury District Hospital have been asked their views.
Maggie Cherry, Head of Patient and Public Involvement, said: “Although participation in the survey is purely voluntary, we would urge people to complete the questionnaires if they can, as the feedback that we gain gives us a clear idea of where we are doing well and where we may need to make improvements for people that need to use our A&E Department.”
Mrs Cherry added: “If people do not want to give their views, we would ask that they return the blank questionnaire in the envelope provided.”
