Hayball open day supports 'Stars' and welcomes British super rider Karl Harris

Local people have an opportunity to meet British Superbike champion Karl Harris and support the Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal, when Hayball Motorcycles hold their open day on the Churchfields estate to celebrate 10 years of the Yamaha R-Series.

As part of the March 15 Open Day, there will be a raffle in aid of the Stars Appeal where people have a chance to win a Yamaha giggle scooter, a limited edition Valentino Rossi book (1 of only 30) a cat 1 alarm fitted to your own bike and a Yamaha R6 for the weekend. There will also be at least five bikes available to take out on a demo ride. Raffle tickets are available now and on the day, but people are advised to get these early as these are limited.

Also attending the open day are Bikesafe instructors who will be there to give advice and pass on some riding techniques. There will be a bouncy castle and face painting, hot food, drinks and ice cream available throughout the day.

Hannah Paye, Fundraising Co-ordinator at Salisbury District Hospital said: “ It’s a great opportunity for people to see Karl Harris who will be on hand to sign posters and photographs and to support the Stars Appeal. I’m sure it will be a really fun day out, with qualified instructors also taking a group on a pre planned route, where people can get a feel for the Yamaha machine.

Funds raised will go towards the Stars Appeals new Caring 4 Kids Campaign which will be launched later this month. Ends
