The conference, which was held by fellows of the European Healthcare Leadership Programme of INSEAD Business School, and organised by Salisbury Consultant Plastic Surgeon Kerstin Oestreich, gave delegates the opportunity to find out more about hospital and primary care, medical training and the future of treatment in England.
Kerstin Oestreich said: “NHS healthcare has a good reputation internationally and other countries take an interest in the developments that are taking place over here. During the conference the delegates had an opportunity to see first hand some of the excellent work that is taking place here at Salisbury District Hospital. They also looked at how services are provided in the community and GP practices and also healthcare from non NHS providers.” Ends
