There are four main groups of staff within the audiology department:
Clerical Officers who book patient appointments and deal with any queries.
Audiology Assistants who have been trained within the department and work on ear, nose and throat hearing clinics and hearing aid repair services.
Audiologists are professionally qualified to graduate level and work predominantly with adult patients. They are also involved with other areas of departmental work such as research and service development.
Hearing Therapists are professionally qualified to provide advice and use counselling skills that help patients overcome a range of hearing difficulties.
