Fresh, local, nutritious
Catering for our patients, visitors and staff is provided by our in-house catering team.
Our meals are prepared fresh each day, in our on site purpose built kitchen, supporting local growers and suppliers.
To deliver the nutritional needs and expectations of our customers and patients, our menus are developed by our professional Chefs, Patients, Staff, Dieticians, Foundation Trust Governors and feedback from members of the public.
Last year our kitchens:
- Prepared over 550,000 meals
- Spent over £1,000,000 on food
- Purchased 60,000 litres of milk, 18,000 loaves of bread, 4 tonnes of chicken
- Prepared over 156,000 sandwiches
