Orthotics
This is the use of supports, braces etc for people with physical disabilities. These can include spinal braces, specialist footwear; plaster casting etc Salisbury employs its own orthotists and increasing its in house manufacturing capabilities. Specialist accommodation has been provided adjacent to Medical Engineering so that the workshop facilities are readily available for orthotics staff to undertake any modifications.
