Information for Healthcare Professionals

Training

To discuss training within the department, please contact our secretary on 01722 425127 or email Pravina.Patel@salisbury.nhs.uk

Referrals

The majority of our patients self-refer to our department. They do not necessarily require a referral letter and you do not need to contact the department on their behalf.

Should you wish to share information with us, please either write to the department using the relevant address, or send a letter with the patient. We will attempt to respond to your letter when we have received it. However, due to our confidentiality policy, we cannot share information without the patient’s consent.

Ward Visits

If you are caring for a patient at Salisbury District Hospital who needs testing for STIs or who needs our support, please contact the department during clinic times and speak to the Health Advisor on 01722 410069.
