Sexual Assaults

If you have been raped, sexually assaulted or sexually abused please ring the confidential Sexual Assault Referral Centre’s (SARC) 24hr helpline on:

0808 168 0024

Or visit the New Swindon Sanctuary website.

The New Swindon Sanctuary is a dedicated centre to support victims of sexual assault throughout Wiltshire, whether they are men, women or children. Their trained professionals can provide immediate medical care, a forensic examination, counselling and onward referral. It is a ‘one-stop’ service, free of charge for residents of Swindon and Wiltshire.

Their service is available, whether or not you wish to have Police involvement.

Following your visit to the New Swindon Sanctuary, we recommend that you attend the Department of Sexual Health (GUM) at Salisbury District Hospital where you can talk to our trained staff and have STI testing. We can also give medication such as emergency contraception and Hepatitis B vaccinations.

Please contact the Health Advisor if you wish to talk on: 01722 410069
