Was consultant adviser to the Army in Urology till 1996, and moved to Salisbury to take up a new consultant urology post with a special interest in female and neuro-urology.
Although remaining a general urologist, increasingly his sub-speciality practice has focussed on male and female incontinence, complex urodynamics and spinal cord injury. Developed considerable experience and expertise in artificial urinary sphincter placement, mid-urethral tape surgery (male and female), and reconstructive bladder and urethral surgery, including bladder replacement and enlargement, Mitrofanoff procedure and urethroplasty. This complements the range of skills offered by his colleagues in the urology department, and ensures that patients receiving treatment in Salisbury do so from a team of specialists working closely together to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. |
