Answer To Question 4: a) 2017-18 - The Trust did not agree a control total for the year and so was not entitled to any Provider Sustainability Funding in 2017-18 (formerly Sustainability and Transformation funding (STF)). It is not possible to determine how much STF A & E funding was lost as a result. No fines were incurred in the year. b) 2018-19 - The Trust did agree a control total for the year entitling it to Provider Sustainability Funding (PSF) in 2018-19. The Trust is not expecting to achieve the required A & E target for the first 3 quarters of 2018-19. As a result it will not receive £740k PSF funding in this period. No fines have been incurred to date. | |

Answer To Question 6: a. The Trust would have been fined £49k but a national decision was taken not to fine Trusts in 2017-18. b. The Trust has made a provision of £64k, but no fines have been raised in 2018-19 to date. | |
