Does your trust offer any specialised support for staff members living with long Covid? If so could you please provide details of these services.
 
Answer To Question 4:
The Occupational Health clinical team are aware of the nature of long covid in terms of types of symptoms, the recommendations they can advise the employee and employer in terms of self help measures, work place adjustments, signposting to the Trusts health and wellbeing services and initiatives and referral to a long covid clinic via the GP.
 
Question Number 5:
What plans, if any, are in place to improve the support available to staff members who are living with long Covid while working for your trust?
 
Answer To Question 5:
The Head of Health and Wellbeing will be delivering a presentation to the HR Business Partner’s on this subject so greater understanding of the condition is known within HR and recognition that the support staff will need will reach beyond the current absence and attendance policy in terms of phased return/adjustment time frames.
