There is a Level 2 Heat Health alert for our region, Friday to Sunday, with a 60% chance of the weather being very warm to perhaps very hot on Friday. While there's plenty of sunshine to enjoy, remember to protect your skin as UV levels will be high.
Make sure you drink plenty of water to stay well-hydrated and be aware of the signs and symptoms of heat stress and dehydration (thirst, dry mouth, dark or strong-smelling urine, urinating infrequently or in small amounts, inability to concentrate, muscle cramps, fainting).
