The Audiology Service provides comprehensive hearing and balance assessments, digital hearing aid fittings, rehabilitation services and therapy for adults and children.
The department consists of both Adult and Paediatric Audiologists, Hearing Therapists, Assistant Audiologists and a dedicated administration team.
We work closely with Advisory Teachers of the Deaf (TOD’s), Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Consultants and the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme (NHSP).
Our staff at Salisbury District Hospital have long been well regarded for the quality of care and treatment they provide for our patients and for their innovation, commitment and professionalism. This has been recognised in a wide range of achievements and it is reflected in our award of NHS Foundation Trust status. This is afforded to hospitals that provide the highest standards of care.
