Tests /investigations which may take place

It is important to go to your doctor as soon as any symptoms begin, early diagnosis improves the outcome of treatment. Your GP will carry out a physical examination and/or arrange for a blood test. 

Sometimes a lump can be felt in your abdomen, but other tests are always needed.

Endoscopy (also known as a gastroscopy)
CT scan
EUS (endoscopic ultrasound)
PET/CT scan
Laparoscopy
