Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust has launched a public engagement process about plans to build a new Diagnostic and Surgical Hub (DASH) on Salisbury District Hospital’s site. Subject to approval of the final business case, the new building will include five operating theatres, MRI and CT scanners, and four endoscopy rooms. The hub has been designed as the best opportunity to separate planned care from urgent and emergency services while making the most effective use of the hospital site. It will help to improve patient flow, reduce delays and enhance the experience for both patients and staff. (Image: artist's impression of the Hub).
Our staff at Salisbury District Hospital have long been well regarded for the quality of care and treatment they provide for our patients and for their innovation, commitment and professionalism. This has been recognised in a wide range of achievements and it is reflected in our award of NHS Foundation Trust status. This is afforded to hospitals that provide the highest standards of care.
