
Please only attend A&E for emergency or life threatening conditions. Not every health concern needs an Emergency Department visit. Our Emergency Department is for serious and life-threatening conditions such as:
-Chest pain
-Severe breathing difficulties
-Signs of stroke
-Major trauma
-Severe bleeding
There are a range of NHS services available to help you get the right care in the right place:
-Community pharmacies can provide advice and treatment for many common conditions.
-NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day online and by phone if you're unsure where to go.
-GP and out-of-hours services such as the Salisbury Walk-in Centre
may also be available depending on your needs.
