Looking After Yourself During Hot Weather

The Met Office has issued a Red Heat Alert, indicating that exceptionally high temperatures may pose serious risks to health, particularly for older adults, young children, pregnant women, and people with existing medical conditions.

During periods of extreme heat, it is important to take steps to stay safe and reduce the risk of heat-related illnesses such as heat exhaustion and heatstroke. Here is some guidance for taking care of yourself and others during extreme heat:
