We understand how difficult it can be for parents and children to be separated when a child needs to stay in hospital. We are pleased to be able to have the facilities for one parent to stay with their child. Each bed space on Sarum Ward has an area for parents so that they can sleep near to their child. We will supply your child with their meals when they stay with us though you are welcome to bring in food for them. We have a parents’ kitchen on the ward for drinks/snacks. Parent’s meals can be purchased from the hospital catering facilities. We have a shower exclusively for the use of parents.
