Badger Notes

Salisbury Maternity Department replaced handheld paper maternity records with a new, digital system on 25th February 2025.

There are many benefits to using the Badger Notes electronic record system including:

  • Care records can be easily updated at each visit.
  • Appointment dates and test results can be shared with patients via the app.
  • Midwives will no longer have to enter information into both a digital system and a paper record.
  • Greater security, as only those with correct login details can access the records.

Important: If you registered your pregnancy before 25th February 2025 and have paper notes, please continue to bring your paper notes with you at every visit, as we will still need to refer to these.

If you haven’t already consented for us to create you a Badger Notes account, or if your Badger Notes access isn’t working, please contact sft.maternityadministration@nhs.net who can assist with getting this set up for you.
