Ward Description
Chilmark Ward provides joint care in Trauma and Orthopaedics and Elective Orthopaedic surgery. Amesbury and Chilmark ward work closely together as one Orthopaedic unit. There is a dedicated multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Orthopaedic Nurse Specialists. The ward has two specialist Orthogeriatric consultants Dr Padiachy and Dr Spooner. The Senior Sister is Sister Katie Ransby. We are fortunate enough to have a Guide dog on the unit Queenie.
