Gender Pay Gap Report

The Gender Pay Reporting under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017, covers the key questions asked by the Government Equalities Office. In order to eradicate the gender pay gap the Trust will develop further understanding of the data, led by a Gender Pay Gap Committee. As part of our deeper understanding, we plan to deep dive into specific senior roles to understand the male versus female ratio and salary differences. We will also develop a trajectory plan to balance out the overall gender pay gap.

WRES (Workforce Race Equality Standard) Report

The NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) was made available to the NHS from April 2015, following sustained engagement and consultation with key stakeholders including a widespread of NHS organisations across England. The WRES is included in the NHS standard contract, and since July 2015, NHS trusts have been producing and publishing their WRES data on an annual basis.

WDES (Workforce Disability Equality Standard) Report

The Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES) is mandated by the NHS Standard Contract and applies to all NHS Trusts and Foundation Trusts from April 2019. The WDES is a data-based standard that uses a series of measures (Metrics) to improve the experiences of Disabled staff in the NHS.

The WDES comprises ten Metrics (see Appendix A). All of the Metrics draw from existing data sources (recruitment dataset, ESR, NHS Staff Survey, HR data) with the exception of one; Metric 9b asks for narrative evidence of actions taken, to be written into the WDES annual report.
