| Answer To Question 2: Q2a & c: (To patients, carers, bereaved and staff within the Hospice) 2015-16 - Approximately 86 (either stand alone short treatments or incorporated into other Complementary Therapies 2016-17 - 16 stand alone short treatments 114 incorporated 2017-18 - 26 stand alone treatments – 159 incorporated 2018-19 - 30 stand alone treatments – 199 incorporated 2019-20 - 34 stand alone treatments - 220 incorporated (until 26/2/20 due to Covid) 2020-21 - NO VOLUNTEERS 2021-22 - 7 stand alone treatments - 55 incorporated (17/11/22- end march 22 ) 2022 -23 – 12 stand alone treatments 30 incorporated. Patients with life limiting conditions such as various cancers and neurological conditions are offered treatments to include Reiki. Carers, bereaved and members of staff are also offered the same therapies. We are unable to breakdown the results by condition. 2b. All therapists are volunteers and are not paid to offer Complementary Therapies to patients, carers, bereaved and members of staff. | |
