Question Number 1: Please could you state how many patients were treated by your Trust in the last financial year (23/24) who were patients that should have paid for their treatment because they were not entitled to free NHS hospital care? | |
Answer To Question 1: In response to this question, please note that we have taken the request to mean any individual defined as an overseas visitor in charging category D and F only, as defined by the National Health Services (Charges to Overseas Visitors) Regulations 2015. Please note that we have excluded maternity patients, which are not recorded as either elective nor emergency, private patients and co-pay patients. We have also not included patients seen and treated in our Emergency Department only as these are not chargeable. Answer: 32 | |
