It is public information that you have been asked to inform the NHS when you “envisage adopting already available nationally commissioned local Products”. I would like to know when specifically you plan to start adopting the FDP and who you are naming as lead (as is requested in the letter)? I would also like to know what your plans are for how you will maximise the benefits of the Federated Data Platform to deliver better joined-up care for their patients within the next two years (again, asked of you in the above mentioned letter)? | |
| Answer To Question 1: 1) Please find the following as a direct extract from the email response to the national team (I have provided the wording for ease for you): "Good morning, Please find below the response to the letter attached for Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust and Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I have given operational leads alongside the digital leads but we are working closely as an ICS on FDP and will be setting up a single oversight board in the near future: Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust • That you plan to adopt the NHS FDP in the next 2 years – We have already adopted FDP • in which quarter of 2024/25 or 2025/26 - We have already adopted FDP • Named lead for NHS FDP, and the information lead in your trust – Named Digital Lead: Jon Burwell (jon.burwell@nhs.net), Named Operational Lead: Niall Prosser (niall.prosser@nhs.net), Named Information Lead: Jonathan Luff (jonathan.luff@nhs.net)" 2) We are already adopting the nationally commissioned products where appropriate. 3) Please see point 1. Digital Lead, Jon Burwell, Acting Chief Digital Officer. 4) We intend to review each product as they are developed to consider the benefits. A central ICS oversight group has been set up to monitor benefits realisation of agreed products. | |
