Question Number 1: Follow on from FOI 8569 How often and/or under what circumstances are formaldehyde levels measured in your histopathology department? | |
Answer To Question 1: Formaldehyde measurements of ppm in the atmosphere are completed twice weekly. Monday AM in the specimen reception room and Friday AM following specimen disposal. We perform further testing in the event of a formaldehyde spillage or if there is a strong odour within the area to check the levels. | |
