Question Number 1: Please see below my FOI request regarding radiology AI software. With the pressures on the NHS, particularly at this time of year, we are keen to understand whether your NHS Trust is embracing AI solutions. How many MRI scanners do you have within the Trust? 1. How many of these MRI scanners are outsourced or provided by a 3rd party?

Answer To Question 1: The Trust have 2 MRI scanners on site at SFT. 1 MRI scanner offsite at CDC provided by InHealth.

Question Number 2: How many of these MRI scanners are more than 10 years old?

Answer To Question 2: No scanners over 10 years old

Question Number 3: How many of the MRI scanners have AI software installed?

Answer To Question 3: Both onsite MRI scanners have AI software 'Deep Resolve'.

Question Number 4: How many of these MRI scanners doesn’t have AI installed?

Answer To Question 4: None

Question Number 5: Please complete the table attached for your Trust:

Answer To Question 6: 2 CT scanners.

Question Number 7: How many of these CT scanners are more than 10 years old?

Answer To Question 7: Both under 10 years old

Question Number 8: Does your Trust utilise AI software for lung cancer screening – Yes/No? 1. If yes, please can you name the software?

Answer To Question 8: Yes - Aidence

Question Number 9: Does your Trust purchase X-Ray AI software – Yes/No?

Answer To Question 9: No

Question Number 10: If yes, which AI software does your Trust utilise for: 1. Chest X-ray screening? 2. Breast X-ray (mammography or Tomosynthesis)? 3. Fracture detection?

Answer To Question 10: AI software not used for any of these purposes.
