It’s now possible for our patients to view their Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust appointment information via the NHS App. As one of the first Trusts to become visible in this way, people who are registered with a GP can access their hospital bookings and referrals via their smartphone, tablet or a desktop computer. In addition, if you have downloaded the NHS App and turned notifications on, you will also receive NHS app notifications about your outpatient appointments.

Although appointments will be visible on the NHS App, this development will not replace the ways in which we already communicate with our patients, and we will continue to send appointment information via letters texts, and Patient Portal (as per patient preference).
If you already use DrDoctor (the Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust Patient Portal) you can continue to use this, but you can now also use the NHS App.

When setting up an account within the NHS app, you will need to provide information to set your account up. Your information will then be verified, and this process could take up to 24 hours. After this process, you should have full control over your health through your phone. To be able to use the NHS app, you must be 13 years or older and registered with a GP surgery in the UK.
