Question Number 1: This is a Freedom of Information request regarding Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust's use of Palantir software. To what extent and for what purpose does Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust and its staff use Palantir's Federated Data Platform or any other software created or controlled by Palantir Technologies?

Answer To Question 1: Outpatient CCS in FDP RTT in FDP Inpatient CCS in FDP PLICS Local Costings Collection (LCC) - FDP Cancer360 - FDP Shared PTL Pilot Phase – FDP

Question Number 2: What, if any, patient data (including anonymised or pseudo-anonymised data) has been uploaded to databases owned or controlled by Palantir?

Answer To Question 2: None. Databases (“Instances”) are owned by NHS England under contract and national instances are controlled by the NHSE teams. Each Trust is operator of local instances. The instances have individual “products” which are separate from one another. See sections 10 or 11 on the respective DPIAs. These list the identified datasets for each product.

Question Number 3: What, if any, patient data (including anonymised or pseudo-anonymised data) do employees or contractors of Palantir Technologies have, or have previously had, access to either on-site at the hospital or remotely?

Answer To Question 3: No access to data unless under specific agreed terms. E.g. one contractor needed to access some data for one product (they are all segregated) to implement a change and an approval process was followed.

Question Number 4: Has the Trust conducted data protection impact assessments on the use of Palantir's Federated Data Platform or other Palantir software? If so, please provide a copy of these assessments.
