Sustainability Team Wins National Award

The work of Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust’s Sustainability Team has been recognised nationally, winning the first-ever Sustainability Award at the 2025 Health Estates & Facilities Management Association (HEFMA) Annual Awards. The award celebrates innovation and impact in sustainable estates and facilities management, and the Trust’s Sustain & Reclaim Centre (formerly known as the Asset Recycling Centre) was celebrated as a leading example of how to reduce waste, reuse valuable resources, and embed sustainability into everyday operations.

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust achieves highest scoring in national NHS survey

The National NHS Staff Survey revealed Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust being the highest scoring hospital in England for staff looking forward to going to work. Every year the NHS conducts the biggest staff survey in the world called the National NHS Staff Survey, with around 700,000 staff taking part across the country.

New cancer information service at Salisbury Hospital


27 November 2024
A new Macmillan Cancer Information Hub officially opened at Salisbury District Hospital on Monday 25th November. The new Hub is located inside the hospital’s Main Entrance. It is operated by staff from the Cancer Support Team and trained volunteers. The team offers a ‘drop-in’ service Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 15:00.
