Today, on International Women's Day, CEO Stacey Hunter pays tribute to female colleagues, including Alex Crick (pictured above), Consultant in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and the Trust’s Clinical Lead for the Armed Forces. This year’s theme for Women’s History Month is ‘Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope’ and is an opportunity to celebrate these incredible women who work in service of others and who inspire by building their future, their way.

'We Reflect' - A service to mark the second anniversary of the first national lockdown

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust and Salisbury Cathedral are holding a special service, 'We Reflect', to mark the second anniversary of the start of the first national lockdown back in March 2020. The service, which starts at 17:30 on Tuesday 22nd March, is a wonderful opportunity for all local health and care staff to come together with the community to reflect upon the experiences of the past two years. This ecumenical service is open to all communities in South Wiltshire, North and East Dorset and South West Hampshire and is accessible to all faiths and those with none.

World AIDS Day

Today is World AIDS Day, which is celebrated to spread awareness about HIV, show support for people living with HIV, and commemorate the ones who died of HIV. Dr Helen Iveson, consultant in Sexual Health at our hospital, as part of the Wiltshire Sexual Health team, offers advice on HIV testing and treatment.
