| Question Number 1: I would like to submit an FOI request for the amount of human albumin in grams purchased by the trust in 2023 and 2022 (the entire calendar year), a. broken down by manufacturer (Bio Products Laboratory, Grifols, Biotest, CSL Behring, Octapharma, Takeda), b. by concentration (4.5%, 5%, 20%) and c. by service ordering albumin (ICU, Liver unit, etc.) | |
| Answer To Question 1: A - Please see attached Spreadsheet. B - There is currently a national shortage of human albumin. Pharmacy order and supply HA, but with the current shortages they will be buying from potentially any of the listed suppliers, essentially whoever has stock to send us.
