Question Number 1: For the last year where you have a full year's data, please can you tell me the following: How many Maternity patients were treated for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) in the 12 month period?

Answer To Question 1: The Trust have managed 164 women with gestational diabetes between 1st June 2025 and 31st May 2026

Question Number 2: Do you have a digital product to support the treatment of patients with GDM?

Answer To Question 2: Yes, we utilise a digital database that collates blood glucose levels and allow the diabetes team to review blood glucose levels remotely. Women need access to a mobile telephone and wifi, if they do not have this then we revert to using a small diary to record results.

Question Number 3: If you have a digital product, can you supply the total contract value and duration?

Answer To Question 3: The Trust use a Digital platform called Roche which is a free service which is Nationally accessible to patients with Diabetes. No specific contract is held for this.

Question Number 4: How many type 1 diabetes patients do you care for in your trust?

Answer To Question 4: Approximately 639 patients

Question Number 5: How many type 2 diabetes patients specifically on insulin do you care for in your trust?

Answer To Question 5: Approximately 500 patients
