| Question Number 1: I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Counties Covered Please list the counties or geographical areas your Trust provides services to. | |
| Answer To Question 1: In general the Trust serves the counties of Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset however as a specialist Spinal and Burns hospital the geographical area covered is much wider (South West England) therefore patients come from a wide variety of counties. | |
| Question Number 2: Senior Lived Experience Leadership Roles Please list any senior roles within your Trust that have overall responsibility for lived experience functions. | Answer To Question 2: The Trust has a Professional Nurse Advocate / Professional Advocate Lead for SFT. We provide peer support for all patient-facing staff. There are currently 28 qualified (Masters level training programme) PNAs/PAs and we are working towards 68, which is the nationally mandated number for PNAs within SFT. All PNAs and PAs (except the lead) work within their substantive hours, carrying out their PNA/PA duties for 7.5 hrs/month. The Trust also has seven staff networks that provide peer support on a range of issues including lived experience. These are positions alongside day to day role and cover all jobs, bands and Service areas. The Trust also has a Freedom to Speak Up Guardian for peer support issues | |

| Answer To Question 3: The Trust have none of the above roles listed on ESR. The Trust does have a Head of Patient Experience role. Peer Support Manager - Re PNAs/PAs only - Overall day to day management is led by PNA/PA Lead. Band 8a. Temporary Staffing, but managed and reporting to Quality Directorate and Dep Chief Nursing Officer Peer support networks currently sit under our EDI lead this will be changing with the restructure to a group model. | |
