Salisbury Hospital partially lifts visitor restrictions

Salisbury Hospital will partially lift restrictions on visiting from 00.01 on Monday 31st January. Patients will be able to have one person visiting for one hour. Visitors must call ahead to book a time and show proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test on arrival. The hospital is a healthcare setting and to protect patients, staff and visitors, face masks must be worn at all times. While on site visitors must also adhere to social distancing and hand hygiene.

Salisbury City Hall COVID-19 vaccination centre celebrates its 1st anniversary today.  Over the last twelve months the vaccination centre, operated by Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, has delivered over 200,000 vaccinations.

New Discharge Grant Scheme available to support discharge from hospital

A new scheme to support patients to get home as soon as possible will be launched at Salisbury District Hospital the week beginning 17th January 2022. Salisbury District Hospital is the first site to trial the scheme with Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust following.

Same day appointments for children at Salisbury Walk-in Centre

Parents of children aged 0-17 can book a same day appointment with a GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner at the Salisbury Walk In Health Centre. This extended service provides out of hours GP health advice and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries and gives parents a local alternative to A & E when their child is ill.
